autozoo, and advanced maybe inferior, but i know for a fact that napa even redesigns some parts, such as replacement manifolds and water pumps to alleviate issues that are common to their oem counterparts. Im not saying this just cuz i work there. I work there on weekends only now, mainly just for the discount. I have had horrible luck with other cheapo parts from autozoo(i mean zone), and advanced before i ever worked at napa. I started buying only from napa after putting 4 "lifetime" autozone alternators in a week on one of my buddies cars. A good warrantee is a pos when you have to install it multiple times in a short period. I have never had a problem with my napa parts, and after working there, know how few issues there are. Go to autozone and get in a line of returns, go to napa and get parts. 90% of our returns are due to customers not knowing an engine size or a cataloging issue. We only ship our defects once a month, and it usually is a very small amount. So as far as inferior goes, i wouldnt say that. Plus you wont get a lifetime warrantee on any part from a nissan dealer. When i change my timing belt, i just take my lifetime water pump back, and get a new one, no questions asked. Its not a reman either. Its brand new. Cost me 50 bucks, but ill never buy another...
